Do you know that there are 5 universal love languages? Physical touch, quality time, words of affirmation, acts of service, and gift-giving. It doesn’t matter what your personal scale of preference is, every once in a while it’s good to tick each of these 5 boxes whenever you can. And while we can’t help with most of these, what we can help with is an act of service or two acts of service.

This SZN, as usual, we already have more valentine package vendors than couples. But that does not mean we still won’t buy gifts to show our care for our loved ones. Packages upon packages. Budget size by budget size. Still, this leaves us with one more problem to deal with in this noble quest to show some love and care to our people; who will deliver said packages to the right place at the right time?

Bad days are the worst. Unfortunately every now and then, we all encounter bad days. The car breaks down on your way down to an important meeting, the blender packs up when you are just about to make your special smoothie, or the make-up artist decides to disappoint you at the very last minute on your best friend’s wedding day. But we tell you, with wrkman, there are no bad days.

For starters, a way to curb this artisan decline problem would be to build a small bridge for us and our artisans. Gradually that small bridge becomes a community, and then a city, and boom, we are in a global marketplace. It happened with the rise of social media. And like back then too now, wrkman is that small bridge and as of right now we have 16000+ artisans and 12000+ users on the platform.

There’s usually one reason or the other why people find it truly difficult to find reliable, and well-trained artisans to do a job for them these days. These reasons include; the lack of properly trained and vetted artisans on the streets, artisans that cannot be trusted with your money, and generally there’s no ‘body’ to govern the affairs of these artisans, so most people just tend to do whatever they liked and get away with it.

At the beginning of last year, we dare say we had a lot planned for you, and by the end of the year, it was all crowned with our wrkmandey4u MEGA promo. Well, this new year 2023, we’ve got loads and loads planned out for you.

This is the last blog post for the year, and like every great feat, we’ve saved our thank yous for last. We had a wonderful year, and our story isn’t complete without you. So for today, we’ve broken down our major milestones and feats of the year down to the monthly detail, and the parts we all had to play in it. Let’s get to it.

The giveaways from our live sessions rolled in, and your favourite influencers joined in the campaign, and before we knew what was happening word had spread, and we had a MEGA raffle on our hands.
