wrkman kicks off 2023 with major plans to expand in Nigeria

At the beginning of last year, we dare say we had a lot planned for you, and by the end of the year, it was all crowned with our wrkmandey4u MEGA promo. Well, this new year 2023, we’ve got loads and loads planned out for you. First, what we are most excited about, sometime this year, wrkman will be launching in Port Harcourt. So this means if you live in the garden city; struggling to find reliable artisans is about to become a thing of the past for you.

As we hinted earlier, wrkman is coming to Port Harcourt this year. And if you know anything about wrkman, then you know it’s about to get softer for the artisans in Port Harcourt.

PH as a city is security conscious. There’s a scarcity of people you can trust, not to talk of artisans you’d let into your home. We aim to assemble a collection of trustworthy artisans to serve the people and expand their business reach.

We currently operate in Lagos and Abuja, with more of our energy channeled to Lagos. That’s about to change. This year, we’re expanding more in Abuja. The very few people that have used wrkman there have given us all the green light we need to send reinforcements. In response, management channeled more energy to serve our people better there.

◾ Stores - In most cases, artisans have to procure raw materials before they can do a job for you, and in most cases, people get cheated on price. So we took the time to bring the best stores down to your fingertips. This means if you hire a plumber and need to buy pipes for the job, the stores you’ll be buying from are on the wrkman app you already have. Then you can get the items down to your house using a dispatch from... You guessed it, the same wrkman app in your hand.

◾ Escrow feature - we believe in mutual trust between our users and artisans, but we have taken the extra step to ensure smooth operations. Our escrow feature protects both sides of a job hire. The user pays the agreed-upon fee to us, we hold it in safekeeping until the user is satisfied, then we pay out to the artisan.

◾ Favorite artisans - Most times, when we get good service from people, we want to hold on to them. The favorite/completed jobs/canceled jobs options on the side bar of the app let you go back to the same artisan and hire them over and over again.

◾ wrkman premium - This is a unique feature for our artisans. For a small token, you get to enjoy unique benefits like getting recommended to customers, getting featured as a top service provider on wrkman, having your own personalized artisan profile, and reaching more and more customers daily.

◾ Ravishing new look - New year, New look. The wrkman app has gotten a facelift; meaning it probably looks different since the last time you opened it. Update your app to see.
