This is the last blog post for the year, and like every great feat, we’ve saved our thank yous for last. We had a wonderful year, and our story isn’t complete without you. So for today, we’ve broken down our major milestones and feats of the year down to the monthly detail, and the parts we all had to play in it. Let’s get to it.

We went from just over 1000 users in January this year to 12000+ as this blog post is being written. We started a thing because the suffering common artisans put people through is nothing to write about, and a year later, over 12,000 of us believe wrkman is bringing the change we want to see.

Like Facebook in its early days, the wrkman app started up quite simply, but with time, and your valuable feedback, it is where it is now. We’ve added more artisan skills, the stores feature that lets you buy job supplies directly from our verified vendors and our escrow feature that secures your payment in our hands until you’re satisfied with the job done.

Truly, we’ve had a wonderful year, and we couldn’t have done it without you. So from all of us at wrkman, we’re saying Thank youuuu.

Just like there’s no wrkman without our users, there’s no wrkman without our artisans. At the beginning of the year, we had just over 2000 artisans, and now we’re ending the year with over 16,000 registered artisans across Lagos, and Abuja.

Our vetted, and verified artisans are nothing short of the professional experience, if you’ve hired from wrkman, then you know our artisans are top-notch guys. We have A.C./Fridge repairs, aluminium, and glass, appliance repairs, auto mechanic/A.C/rewire/panel, barbers, beauticians, bricklayers/tillers/POP, carpentry services, catering services, cleaning services, dispatch rider, electrical service, generator service, hair stylists, make-up artists, painter/screeder, phone and laptop repairs, photography, plumbing services, vehicle towing, vulcanizers, and welding services.

Marketing takes care of our online presence, blog posts, emails, and all our social media accounts. Operations oversee our artisans and ensure a smooth transition between you and our artisans.
